After a spring of negotiation, renegotiation and rejection, the MLB appears to be on its way back with a 60-game season, much to the delight of some fans. For many baseball lovers, even playing half of the games is better than being deprived of America's pastime for an entire year. Others have lost faith in the owners and players to work together in good faith and think they should scrap the whole season until the threat of COVID-19 is completely gone. What do you think? ⚾

Whether it's 162 games, 60 games, or four games, MLB being back is good for the world. Like every other sport, baseball brings people together (emotionally, in this socially distanced world) and people need that now more than ever.

Having no season would have been a disaster for Major League Baseball. Fans' faith in the league has been shaken, and losing a year of baseball would only deepen resentment against both the owners and the players.

Baseball needs to happen this year and 60 games are better than none.

Tylt sports editor Dan Tran and former Sonoma Stompers assistant general manager Jen Ramos talk about the Astros cheating scandal and provide some alternate punishments.

In a last grasp for relevancy, MLB might be coming back for a 60-game season. However, with negotiations between owners and players dragging on for what seems like an eternity, it's no surprise that many people don't care if baseball happens at all this year.

People don't care about what makes an MLB season, they just want it to happen. The petty battle the players and owners have had trying to get this season to even happen is exhausting and some fans would rather have the season shut down so they don't have to hear about it anymore.

Also, coronavirus hasn't been eradicated completely and playing a season is risking the health of every player on the field. There is no point in playing a season if the players aren't safe. Heck, the season could shut down again if the infection rate increases again. So what's the point?
